RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with it. However, if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, you may return the item for a full refund or exchange. Please review our return policy below.
RETURNS
All returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of the package arrival. Returned items must be new and unused, with all original tags and labels attached.
RETURN PROCESS
To initiate a return, please email customer service at contact@hikariknife.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving the RMA, place the item securely in its original packaging. The return will only be accepted if the parcel contains all originally included items. Packages must be carefully packaged and free of adhesive tape traces.
Important: If the return package arrives damaged, the return cannot be processed and will not be accepted.

You are responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method. If you use the enclosed prepaid label, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund or exchange. Please allow at least thirty (30) days from receipt of the item. You will receive confirmation via email when your return is processed.
EXCEPTIONS
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Used products
- Products outside the return/refund window
- Damaged or defaced items
- Products damaged due to misuse, including but not limited to: cutting frozen foods, bones, or hard materials; using the knife for purposes other than food preparation; dropping, improper sharpening, or neglecting proper care.
- Products broken, chipped, or dulled due to negligence, inappropriate storage, or handling inconsistent with the intended purpose of kitchen knives.
For defective or damaged products due to manufacturing issues, contact us using the information below to arrange a refund or exchange.
Please Note
- If you request an exchange, return shipping is covered by Hikari Knife.
- If you request a refund, return shipping is your responsibility.
- All products undergo quality inspection before shipping. If damage, defects, or wrong items are delivered, we will offer a replacement.
- Our knives require proper care to avoid rust or damage from water or acids. Improper storage may leave blemishes and will affect return eligibility.
- Hikari Knife products are handmade. Slight variations and imperfections may occur, including color differences from website photos.
- By purchasing, you acknowledge that our knives are specialized kitchen tools, not general-purpose cutting instruments. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or treating the knives as tools for non-culinary purposes will void eligibility for return or refund.
